Both the Elk and Deer hoists utilize a 1 1/4" grooved sealed steel roller bearings which takes most of the friction out while hoisting up game. The Deer Hoist has two rollers on the top block and two rollers on the bottom block. It comes with 100 feet of rope and a stuff bag, yet weighs a remarkable 1.25 lbs.
